The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has congratulated the Iranian nation on the election of the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, pledging unwavering allegiance to him.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi described the development as an important achievement in these exceptional circumstances, saying it will strengthen the foundations of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and the Islamic establishment.
"This achievement is a big blow to the United States and Israel as the oppressors of the time, and a deep disappointment for them," Houthi stated.
Houthi says the election of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei was a salve to the Muslim world's grave wound following the assassination of his father Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, in a joint US-Israeli strike against Tehran on February 28.
"We emphasize our resistance and solidarity with the Islamic Republic and the Muslim people of Iran against American-Israeli aggression and oppression," the Ansarullah chief said.
He said the US-Israeli oppression aims to implement the evil Zionist plan under the title of "changing the Middle East" and strengthening "Greater Israel."
"We emphasize that the great resistance and effective confrontation of the Islamic Republic against aggression and oppression will result in victory," he underscored.
The Yemeni leader said victory is evident in the defeat of the enemies' objectives, and the damage and torments inflicted upon them, and in the steadfastness of the Muslim Iranian nation and their loyalty to the Islamic system.
Houthi finally asked God Almighty to grant Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei success, protect him, and help the Iranian nation as well as and the courageous Iranian Armed Forces.
Following the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, who had led Iran for 37 years since the 1989 demise of Imam Khomeini, the Assembly of Experts elected Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
