Regional resistance movements have issued separate statements congratulating the Islamic Republic of Iran on the election of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah congratulated Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei on his election, reaffirming the enduring relationship between the resistance movement and the Islamic Republic.

The movement said it renews its covenant with the principles of the leaders of the Islamic Revolution and pledges allegiance to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

Under his leadership, Hezbollah said it will dedicate all its efforts to realizing the principles of the Islamic Revolution as laid down by Imam Khomeini.

Hezbollah resistance fighters, the statement noted, declare that they are under the command of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the new supreme jurist (Vali-ye Faqih), and vowed to make the criminal America and global arrogance regret any aggression.

“Under the leadership of our dear Leader, we will resist and persevere until our last breath and our last drop of blood,” it added.

Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement also issued a statement, saying the smooth transition in the Islamic Republic demonstrated the country’s resilience.

The movement congratulated Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei on his selection as the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

In a statement, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a senior member of the Supreme Political Council, conveyed warm felicitations to both the Iranian leadership and people on the occasion.

"We congratulate the election of Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, its leadership, and its people," al-Houthi said.

The Yemeni official emphasized that the leadership transition demonstrates the strength and cohesion of the Islamic Republic, stating that it reflects "the cohesion, unity, and readiness of the system and the nation."

Al-Houthi further described the Iranian system as fundamentally resilient, affirming that its leaders and people "are resistant and undefeatable."

Abu Hussein Al-Hamidawi, Secretary-General of Kata'ib Hezbollah in Iraq, also hailed the election of Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the Leader and standard-bearer of the resistance forces worldwide.

He said the development is further evidence of the astuteness, insight, and deep foresight of the Assembly of Experts regarding the magnitude of the fateful challenges facing the nation.

He described the new Leader as a personality possessing leadership qualities and the necessary competence to shoulder the burden of this great responsibility in this difficult era.

The February 14 Youth Coalition, a movement named after the date of the beginning of a 2011 uprising in Bahrain against monarchical rule, congratulated Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei on his appointment as Iran’s new Leader.

The group praised the decision, calling for unity around the new Leader, and expressed hope that his leadership would strengthen Muslims and the resistance.

The 88-member Assembly of Experts on Sunday elected Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the successor to his father and the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei.
