Trump poses grave danger to global peace, security: Ex-British MP

A former British lawmaker says that US President Donald Trump poses a great danger to world peace and security.

"President Donald Trump is no longer in control of his words, his actions, or his mind," George Galloway said in a post on X on Sunday.

"He (Trump) is a clear and present danger to America and the world," Galloway added.

The internationally reputed politician and anti-war activist further suggested that Trump should be removed from power.

"His cabinet colleagues must invoke the 25th Amendment," Galloway noted.

Elsewhere in his post, the British politician emphasized that Trump shouldn't be allowed to exercise his power freely.

"Alternatively, the military must place him under arrest and restraint."

The remarks come as Trump joined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in launching an all-out war of aggression against Iran, which has engulfed the entire West Asia region and driven up global energy prices.

The criminal regimes of the US and Israel attacked Iran on February 28 in an unprovoked act of aggression, assassinating Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and targeting sites across the country, including schools, hospitals, and sports halls.

Iran responded by launching barrages of missiles and drones at targets inside the Israeli-occupied territories as well as at American bases across the region.
