Iran will continue war until enemies regret their aggression: Top commander
Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters Major General Ali Abdollahi says Iran will keep the war on with the United States and Israeli regime until they regret launching the aggression against the Islamic Republic.
He said on Sunday that Iran is in possession of advanced weapons with high precision, which are beyond the enemy assessment of the country’s military power.
The commander added that the Iranian Armed Forces will stand with the Islamic Republic to their last breath and will definitely make the enemies regret their wrongdoings.
He emphasized that the US and Israeli regime have always made miscalculations regarding Iran, saying, “We have always said that we will respond to the enemy on the [battle] field.”
He said the aggressors would have realized by now that "we are not the men of slogans, but the men of battlefield."
He pointed to the enemies’ repeated claims of knowing the state of the Iranian missile arsenal, warning that they would realize on the battlefield that they knew nothing about the Islamic Republic’s deterrence power.
The Iranian Armed Forces are determined to avenge the blood of martyrs of the ongoing US-Israeli war, particularly the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, he reiterated.
He added that the evil enemy is targeting Iranian students and innocent people and destroying their homes “but we will absolutely target their military centers and equipment as well as all necessary targets to make the enemy regret.”
The commander said the Islamic Republic and the great Iranian nation would achieve a final victory, by God’s grace.
The US and Israel started a fresh round of unlawful large-scale military aggression on Iran on February 28, some eight months after they carried out unprovoked attacks on the country.
Iran has also carried out extensive retaliatory attacks on Israel and US with missiles and drones successfully hitting targets in the Israeli-occupied territories as well as US military assets in regional countries.
