A series of new Israeli attacks have killed at least four civilians and injured several others across the besieged Gaza Strip amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Local Palestinian media, citing sources, reported that a 17-year-old boy was killed when an Israeli strike hit near the al-Sanafour intersection in eastern Gaza City.

Two more people died in a missile strike in the Tuffah neighborhood in the city’s northern part, while another civilian was killed in an Israeli quadcopter attack elsewhere in the territory.

Three people, including a child, were injured by shrapnel from Israeli missiles that struck the al-Sanafour area in the early morning.

Witnesses said more bodies were being brought to Gaza’s overstretched hospitals as Israeli attacks continue despite the recent return of the last Israeli captive soldier.

The Israeli military has continued airstrikes and artillery shelling across the Gaza Strip, including in Tuffah, which has seen a noticeable escalation in recent days.

Israeli forces are also carrying out the demolition of Palestinian buildings behind the so-called yellow line.

Palestinians are calling on the guarantors of the ceasefire to pressure Israel to fully implement both the first and second phases of the agreement.

Since the ceasefire began, Israel has carried out near-daily violations, killing nearly 490 Palestinians and injuring more than 1,340.
