Armed gangs in Gaza at center of brewing power struggle over civil administration

The establishment of a committee tasked with rehabilitating public services, rebuilding civilian institutions and stabilizing daily life in the Gaza Strip has come under strong opposition from armed gangs in recent days.
The groups aided and funded by the Israeli regime, now wielding much influence in some areas of the war-ravaged territory, call the civil administration ineffective.
