Massive Michigan pileup sees over 100 vehicles collide in highway crash
A massive pileup involving more than 100 vehicles occurred on an interstate highway in Ottawa County, Michigan, on Monday (January 19).
The incident on the I-196 left multiple people injured, according to local reports.
Earlier that day, the National Weather Service had urged residents to avoid travel due to whiteouts and worsening winds.
Eyewitness video showed cars and trucks heavily damaged both on the roadway and along its shoulder, with some vehicles wedged together.
