At least six Palestinians, including a child, have been wounded in attacks by Israeli settlers on several towns and villages in the West Bank, as settlers escalated assaults and violations across the occupied territory under the protection of Israeli forces.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA, citing local sources, reported that settlers from the Rehelim settlement attacked a number of Palestinian homes in the town of Yatma, southeast of Nablus, on Saturday evening, assaulting residents and spraying them with pepper spray.

Voice of Palestine radio station said four people suffered bruises and symptoms of suffocation. Two of those injured were identified as a father and his son.

In a separate incident, at least two Palestinians were injured, and several homes and vehicles were set on fire after Israeli settlers launched a wide-scale attack on the Bedouin community of Khallet al-Sidra, northeast of al-Quds, on Saturday evening.

Elsewhere in the occupied West Bank community of Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, illegal Israeli settlers carried out a string of attacks under the protection of Israeli soldiers.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhameh said the assaults included releasing livestock between homes and onto agricultural land and damaging crops and property.

Makhameh noted that the settlers also vandalized fencing, trees and a water tank in the community of Khirbet al-Tabban in an attempt to harm livelihoods and seize land.

Additionally, Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian vehicle at the entrance of the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.

Palestinian security sources told WAFA that settlers targeted the vehicle on Saturday evening, causing damage to it. No injuries were reported.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, an official body, Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers carried out 23,827 attacks against Palestinians and their property across the West Bank in 2025. Of these, the Israeli military carried out 18,384 attacks, settlers conducted 4,723 attacks, and both together were responsible for 720 assaults.

Attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank have surged sharply in recent years. These violent acts often involve arson, stone-throwing, armed assaults, and the destruction of homes, farmland, and vehicles. Many of these incidents occur with the presence or protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Rights organizations maintain that this type of violence serves as a tactic to instill fear among residents, limit their access to land, and displace Palestinian families from crucial areas, especially those close to settlements and outposts.
