Iran slams US support for riots
As foreign-backed rioters have committed violent attacks against police forces and civilians, officials say they respect concerns over the rising cost of living, but deal with rioters decisively.
According to Tasnim News Agency, around 200 ringleaders linked to terror groups were arrested. Also, Mehr News Agency says Iranian forces stop armed terrorists trying to enter Iran from Iraq.
This comes as mass demonstrations across Iran condemn the crimes of rioters and reject US and Israeli interventions. Spotlight in this edition looks into the nature of these riots and their supporters.
