Chinese, South Korean presidents hold summit amid global outcry against US

Chinese president Xi Jinping hosts his South Korean counterpart Lee Jae-myung in Beijing.

Since taking office in 2025, the South Korean president has tried to pursue a balanced policy on China and its rival, the United States.

That comes as many in South Korea speak out against Washington’s global policies including those in Latin America, and the latest attack on Venezuela. Press TV’s Frank Smith reports from Seoul.
