For two consecutive years, Bethlehem cancelled its Christmas celebrations — its lights dimmed and its festivals suspended — in mourning and solidarity during the war on Gaza.
But this year, Christmas is cautiously returning. Families are decorating again, churches are reopening their doors, and the world’s most sacred Christian city is sending a renewed message of peace and love.
