Israeli troops have shot dead a 19-year-old Palestinian in northern Gaza as the army continued attacks that openly violate the ceasefire with the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.

The Palestinian teenager was shot and killed early Saturday by Israeli occupation forces in Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Gaza health authorities identified the victim as 19-year-old Muhammad Sabri al-Adham.

His killing comes amid ongoing Israeli military genocidal actions that include air strikes and the destruction of civilian homes.

Residents reported Israeli attacks in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City and areas north of Rafah.

Israeli troops continued to demolish homes east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. The attacks have continued despite the ceasefire that came into effect on October 10.

Since then, the Israeli military has killed more than 385 Palestinians and wounded over 1,010 others.

Since the start of Israel’s genocidal assault on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the regime has killed at least 70,354 Palestinians, most of them women and children, while it has wounded more than 171,030.

Thousands of victims of the regime’s aggression remain under the rubble as rescue crews are unable to reach them.

Israeli forces intensify raids across the occupied West Bank

Israeli troops also carried out a wave of raids across the occupied West Bank on Friday night, targeting towns and refugee camps in Tubas, Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Jericho.

In Tammun, southeast of Tubas, Israeli military patrols stormed the town, searched several neighborhoods, and raided the homes of former abductees before withdrawing.

In Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, troops deployed in the town center and fired stun grenades and tear gas.

In al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, Israeli forces entered the town with armored vehicles, sparking confrontations during which soldiers fired live ammunition at residents.

Similar clashes erupted in Silwad, east of Ramallah, after troops conducted another raid and deployed foot patrols.

Communities in eastern and northeastern Ramallah continue to face repeated incursions, alongside attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian homes, land, and property, acts widely condemned as illegal under international law.

Israeli forces also raided Aqabat Jaber refugee camp and several neighborhoods in Jericho, flooding the area with military vehicles and firing tear gas as they patrolled the streets.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces and settlers have killed more than 1,085 Palestinians, injured over 10,700, and abducted at least 20,500 others in the occupied West Bank, figures that point to sustained violence and collective punishment against the Palestinian population.
