Italian journalists demand entry into Gaza as Rome continues to refuse recognizing Palestinian statehood

The Italian press is calling on Rome and the European Union to pressure Israel to finally let journalists into the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile Italy remains one of the few European countries that keeps refusing to recognize the State of Palestine.
