Cloudbursts in India cause widespread destruction

Nature's fury has left scenes of horror and destruction in mountain regions of the Indian subcontinent. Sudden cloudbursts have resulted in significant loss of life and widespread devastation, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. Rescue operations are ongoing, with Indian Army personnel working tirelessly to locate missing individuals.
In recent weeks, the region has been hit by multiple cloudbursts, leading to flash floods and landslides. Dozens of people have died and scores more are still missing with rescue operations on a large scale being underway.
