Jewish Legacy, a UK ‘charity’ with links to Zionist groups aiding occupation, genocide

Social media and Jewish press are inundated with advertisements for an organisation called Jewish Legacy, which it says is ‘helping safeguard the future of the community you love’. 

To do this, it relies on money raised through bequests and legacies written into the wills of British Jews. On the surface, it sounds straightforward enough.

But what exactly is “Jewish Legacy”?

It’s a so-called "charity" called Jewish Legacy Giving registered in London, and it advertises more than thirty charities to which prospective will writers can donate.

Among them are 18 British-based "charities" focused on Jewish communal life, welfare, and support services.

These include Jewish Care, Jewish Child’s Day, the Jewish Volunteering Network, Jewish Blind and Disabled, and the Jewish Association for Mental Illness (JAMI). They all sound perfectly benign.

But there are another 14 so-called "charities" on the list which are known to be genocidal Zionist organisations. In addition to the largest Zionist charity in the country, the United Jewish Israel Appeal, there is the University Jewish Chaplaincy, about which we have previously reported.

There’s also Yad Sarah, which operates in tens of illegal settlements in the West Bank, the United synagogue, the largest Synagogue movement in the UK, which is openly Zionist, the New Israel fund, a Zionist foundation supporting Zionist NGOs, and even some groups based in the Israeli-occupied territories, such as the United Hatzalah of Israel.

There is also the Women’s International Zionist Organisation, a group that has been active in the UK since 1920 and is unapologetically Zionist—the word appears in its very name.

Among its founders were Vera Weizmann, the wife of Chaim Weizmann, the first President of the Israeli regime and Rebecca Sieff, daughter of Michael Marks, one of the founders of Marks & Spencer, the Zionist retail chain.

Rebecca later married Israel Sieff, who went on to serve as chairman of Marks & Spencer from 1964 to 1967.

AKIM

Take the case of AKIM, the “largest and most comprehensive provider of programs and services for the intellectually disabled" in the Israeli-occupied territories.

It features photos of adults in Israeli military uniforms on its page on the Jewish Legacy website. AKIM states that “Army service is a crucial cornerstone to one’s Israeli identity”.

Youth Aliyah

There is also the case of Youth Aliyah - Child Rescue, which runs several so-called “youth villages” in different parts of the occupied Palestinian territories.

Among these is Yemin Orde, named after the bloodthirsty Zionist British military officer Orde Wingate.

Here, they operate a “Pre-Army Prep Course for young women, which does great work in helping and shaping the Zionist regime's leaders of tomorrow.”

In addition, this British-registered charity runs three “Mechina” or “army preparatory” programmes for “at-risk youth”. Graduates from these programmes are funnelled into the genocidal IOF on graduation.

Among the British charities that send cash to this charity supporting genocide are: Diana and Allan Morgenthau Charitable Trust | The Lewis Family Charitable Trust | The Marcus Margulies Charitable Trust | Davis-Rubens Charitable Trust | Bluston Charitable Settlement | The Denise Cohen Charitable Trust | A M Charitable Trust | The Phillips & Rubens Charitable Trust | Maurice Wohl Charitable Foundation | G R P Charitable Trust | Gerald and Gail Ronson Family Foundation | Wolfson Family Charitable Trust | Paul Hamlyn Foundation | Anglo-Israel Association.

All of these are Zionist family foundations run by prominent Zionist business bosses, including most notably the Wolfson family (which owns Next) and the Ronson family. 

The convicted fraudster Gerald Ronson set up the Mossad-advised Community Security Trust in 1994.

There are also several charities associated with the families that founded and ran Marks and Spencer, the UK retail chain.

These are the genocidal links of the apparently innocent Jewish community charities advertised by Jewish Legacy. Have any of them distanced themselves from the genocide? No.

Is there any Jewish community organisation willing to oppose the genocide by publicly dissociating itself from the bloodthirsty genocidal organisation listed on the Jewish Legacy website? 

Virtually the whole of organised Jewry in the UK supports the ongoing genocide in Gaza by action and inaction, in word and deed. A reckoning approaches for all those who fail to oppose the genocide.

Who is behind Jewish Legacy?

Jewish Legacy Giving has to have charitable objectives by law in order to be a "charity."

 Theirs is “the promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of charities for the public benefit by promoting fundraising and legacy giving, particularly from… within the UK Jewish community.”

However, as the Charity Commission has recently stated in a case involving the genocidal Chabad cult: “providing aid or military supplies to any foreign armed force is not a charitable purpose, and no charity can legally undertake such activity.”

That’s true whether or not that army is involved in genocide.

However, this is what the genocidal Zionists involved in the "charity" are up to.

There are other issues with it. One is that the "charity" claims to have six trustees on the Charity Commission website, but one of these - Nigel Ross - is listed as having resigned in April 2019 at Companies House.

The "charity" is also subject to an “active proposal to strike off”. This is because it has not supplied a working registered address.

Let’s look at some of the trustees.

• Anthony Broza is a music industry boss. He is also a director of the UK branch of AKIM, one of the genocidal groups to which the "charity" channels funds, including apparently to support the Israeli Occupation Forces.

It has a UK Charity number but appears not to have an address or website in the UK. The contact email for the group is anthony@wienerworld.com, which is presumably Broza’s personal work email. 

He is a director and joint owner of the family firm Wienerworld. Wienerworld’s roster of artists includes Elvis, Culture Club, Sheryl Crow, Riverdance, 10CC, The Specials, Todd Rundgren, Public Enemy, and The Pretenders, UB40, Nils Lofgren, Johnny Thunders, and Buddy Rich. Broza has been the chairman of the Belmont United Synagogue, Stanmore, which is avowedly Zionist.

• Melanie Elaine Diamond is a solicitor and Fundraiser. She has worked at the Zionist JW3 community centre and at Kisharon Langdon, an apparently innocent Jewish charity, which is nevertheless a member of the Zionist Jewish Leadership Council.

• Adam Neil Overlander-Kaye has made a career out of working directly for genocidal Zionist groups. He has been involved in Limmud since 1997, has been the director of fundraising and community engagement at Jewish Care.
  
  This is another so-called innocent group that is explicitly Zionist, as well as being signed up to the Jewish Leadership Council. Prior to this, he worked for the UK branch of ORT, an organisation that trains young Jews on IOF military bases in Palestine as well as in Israeli arms factories.
  
  He has also worked for Reform Judaism, UJIA, UJS and Bnei Akiva, all of which are genocidal Zionist groups.
