Trilateral winning formula: FM credits field, diplomacy, and media for victory against Israeli-US-imposed war

Iran’s foreign minister commends the comprehensive coordination and cooperation that existed among those involved in the Islamic Republic’s defensive and retaliatory efforts, the nation’s diplomats, and its media professionals throughout the Israeli-US-imposed war in June.

Abbas Araghchi made the remarks, visiting the headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), the country’s broadcasting authority, in the capital Tehran on Tuesday.

The top diplomat, speaking at a meeting of the IRIB’s senior executives, emphasized that synergy across the trilateral dimensions would guarantee Iran’s sustained strength and march towards further progress.

He expressed gratitude towards Dr. Peyman Jebelli, head of the IRIB, and the broadcasting authority’s other high-ranking executives, for dedicated and uncompromising media coverage throughout the warfare.

Araghchi underscored the highly important and influential contribution that was being made by the media professionals towards advancement of the diplomatic apparatus’ duties.

Coordination and cooperation between media and diplomacy is essential for our country’s success in securing its national interests, he stated.

The official honored the memory of those who were martyred during the attack that the Israeli regime carried out against the IRIB’s headquarters on June 16 during the war.

He described the steadfastness of journalists and media professionals in raising public awareness in a professional manner and clarifying facts as a key element in properly narrating various underway developments and preventing distortion of the truth and deviation from it.

Speaking separately alongside Dr. Jebelli outside the meeting, Araghchi said the Islamic Republic’s conduct during the unprovoked aggression would remain a “bright spot” in the country’s history.
