Vatican reiterates call for recognizing Palestinian state

The Vatican has reiterated a call for recognizing Palestinian statehood, and decried hunger in Gaza.

That comes after Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni recently said that recognizing a Palestinian state would be counter-productive.
