Spain opens war crimes case against Netanyahu for assault on Freedom Flotilla

Spain has taken a historic step by launching a criminal investigation against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the last month assault on the Madleen ship.

The investigation follows a complaint filed by activist Sergio Toribio, the only Spanish citizen aboard the Madleen. The vessel was part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition heading to Gaza to break the Israeli siege.
