The Israeli regime has killed the director of Gaza Indonesian Hospital and his family during an airstrike on the southwestern part of the territory.
The Israeli regime targeted the house of Dr. Marwan al-Sultan on Wednesday while he and his family were at home. According to the latest reports, at least seven members of his family were killed with him.
Sultan was a prominent voice against the crimes of Israel in northern Gaza and frequently provided updates on the humanitarian and medical crises in the besieged Palestinian territory.
The efforts Sultan made in advocating civilian protection and medical access drew international attention, notably during periods of intensified bombardment.
The Israeli regime has been systematically targeting doctors and their families since it began its genocidal war in Gaza.
In the latest example, on May 23, 2025, the regime targeted the house of doctors Alaa Al-Najjar and Hamdi Al-Najjar, killing Hamdi Al-Najjar and nine of their ten children.
Since October 7, 2023, when the Israeli regime began its genocidal war against Gaza, it has killed at least 56,000 Palestinians and wounded 133,000.
