Herzog: Israel grieves ‘terrible loss’ after Iran attack
President of Israel Isaac Herzog says the occupying entity has experienced a “very sad and difficult morning” after the Islamic Republic of Iran’s attack against the regime.
Herzog “denounced” what he described as “criminal Iranian attacks” on his X account on Sunday and said he would pray for the wounded to recover and for the Israelis who are still missing to be found.
In the early hours of Friday, the Israelis launched a barbaric, and unprovoked assault against Iran, assassinated high-ranking Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists, and martyred over 70 civilians, including children, and women.
The Tel Aviv regime also carried out large-scale military aggression in multiple locations inside Iran and targeted military infrastructure, nuclear facilities, and residential buildings in Tehran and other cities.
Iran soon launched its retaliatory operation “True Promise III” against the Israeli regime by firing a barrage of missiles toward the occupied Palestinian territories on Friday night.
