Africa perspective on human rights
Iran recently hosted an international conference focused on exploring an Eastern perspective on human rights, a gathering that aimed to reassess modern human rights conversations by bringing in philosophical, cultural, and civilizational traditions from the East.
One of the key participants was Asuman Basalirwa, a Member of Parliament from Uganda’s Bugiri Constituency and a Leading Human Rights Advocate in East Africa.
