Trump signals no change to Ukraine policy with new arms, minerals deal

Shortly after Donald Trump had threatened to walk away from peace talks Kiev agreed to sign a controversial minerals deal that awards half of Ukraine’s natural resources to the United States.

That has led Trump to send his first batch of arms to Kiev, to drop his demand for Ukrainian elections and it could end his recent months of peace mediation efforts. Ramin Mazaheri has more from Washington DC.
