Iran leads global push to define terrorism after 25 years of debate

Twenty-five years after the first draft of the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism, experts and judiciary officials have gathered in Tehran to examine why this crucial UN measure remains incomplete.

Iran, a major victim of terrorism, has taken a leading role in defining terrorism, and in calling for renewed international resolve.
