August and September are the months when many kids return to school.

But Palestinian kids in Gaza are facing another year without going to school due to the Israeli genocide underway in Gaza. As many kids around the world complain about returning to school, it is a dream for the kids in Gaza to do so, just as eating warm meals regularly is also a dream for the children of the coastal sliver. Zaakir Ahmed Mayet, attorney, activist, and political analyst from Johannesburg, and Charlotte Kates, international coordinator, Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, from Vancouver, are tonight's guests.
