Mar. 2: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 30,300 Palestinians so far, including at least 14,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Saturday, March 2, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Mar. 2:

• Seized a Skylark reconnaissance drone of the Israeli military during its spying mission, south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza.
• Blew up two Merkava tanks, southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood with "Shoath" explosives.
• Detonated an anti-personnel "Ra'diya" explosive device against an Israeli infantry force, southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood. 
• Targeted two Merkava tanks of the Israeli military with Yassin-105 rockets, southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood. 
• Detonated a building with two anti-personnel devices, after the entry of Israeli infantry force, resulting in several casualties, in the Satar area north of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Mar. 2:

• In a joint operation with the Mujahideen Brigades, targeted an Israeli Hermes-900 drone with a SAM-7 rocket in the skies of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
• Shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their vehicles in the "Netzarim" axis south of Gaza with mortar shells.
• Shelled illegal Israeli settlements in the Gaza envelope with a rocket barrage.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on Mar. 2:

• Targeted an Israeli army vehicle with a "Saeer" missile, east of Jabalia town, northern Gaza Strip.
• Shelled a gathering of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers in the southern Al-Zaytoun axis in Gaza with a barrage of mortar shells.

Al-Aqsa Brigades' operations on Mar. 2:

• Targeted an Israeli Merkava tank and a military bulldozer with Tandem and RPG rockets in the Al-Zaytoun battle axis.
• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces using appropriate weapons on the axis of Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip. 
• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces using appropriate weapons on the axis of the south Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

Hezbollah's operations on Mar. 2:

Eastern sector:

• At around 15:20 local time, the Al-Za’oura site was targeted with missiles.
• At around 17:30 local time, the Zibdin barracks in Shebaa were targeted with missiles.

Western sector:

• At around 05:40 local time, the Liman command base was targeted with drones.
• At around 10:10 local time, Israeli soldiers in the Jal al-Alam site were targeted with missiles.
• At around 16:40 local time, the Rahib site was targeted with missiles.
• At around 19:00 local time, the Hadab Yarin site was targeted with two Burkan missiles.
