Dec. 26: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of more than 20,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on December 26, Tuesday, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Dec. 26:

• Targeted two Merkava tanks of the Israeli military with an ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shell east of Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• Targeted a troop carrier carrying a number of soldiers northeast of the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, causing several casualties.
• Detonated a booby-trapped tunnel among an Israeli military unit consisting of eight soldiers east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, causing an unspecified number of casualties.
• Targeted Israeli military vehicles and an infantry force in the Sheikh Zayed area.
• Lured Israeli special forces into a house in Beit Hanoun and targeted them with explosives.
• Targeted at least two Israeli military tanks and bulldozers with ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells, north of the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
• Destroyed an Israeli military jeep in the Al-Nada Towers area in the northern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted an Israeli infantry force in a house in the Al-Qasaib neighborhood in Jabalia camp.

Quds Brigades’ operations on Dec. 26:

• Engaged in fierce clashes with anti-tank missiles, machine guns and mortar shells with Israeli forces in east and north of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
• Targeted two Israeli military vehicles with RPG shells in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.
• Targeted Israeli military concentrations with a barrage of mortar shells in Juhr al-Dik in the central Gaza Strip.
• Pounded “Sderot” and “Nir Am” areas with a rocket barrage.
• Targeted Ashkelon, Sderot, and the settlements of the northern Gaza Strip with rockets.
• Targeted five Israeli military vehicles with ‘Tandem’ and ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells in Jabalia Al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip in a coordinated operation with the Qassam Brigades.
• Targeted military concentrations in the Abasan area, east of Khan Yunis, with a barrage of 60-caliber regular mortar shells.

Hezbollah's operations on Dec. 26:

Eastern sector:

• At around 9:45 local time, the Zabdin site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 14:50 local time, the Zabdin Barracks was targeted with Burkan missiles.
• At around 15:30 local time, the Al-Baghdadi site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 15:30 local time, a drone targeted the newly established command headquarters of the Israeli army in the vicinity of the Kiryat Shmona, causing casualties.

Western sector:

• At around 11:40 local time, Israeli regime soldiers were targeted in the vicinity of the Ramia site, leading to casualties.
• At around 12:00 local time, an Israeli military monitoring room near the Shumira barracks was targeted, resulting in casualties.
• At around 12:10 local time, Israeli regime soldiers were targeted near the Dovev Barracks, leading to an unknown number of casualties.
• At around 13:45 local time, Israeli regime soldiers were targeted at the Raheb site, leading to an unknown number of casualties.
• At around 13:45 local time, the headquarters of the 91st Division of the Israeli military was targeted at the Beranit Barracks with appropriate weapons, causing damage and casualties.

Yemeni military’s operations on Dec. 26:

• The naval wing of the Yemeni armed forces carried out a targeting operation against a commercial ship, “MSC UNITED,” with appropriate naval missiles. The targeting of the ship came after its crew refused multiple calls from the Yemeni naval forces, as well as repeated warning messages.
• The Yemeni Air Force also carried out an operation with several drones against military targets in the Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) area and other areas in occupied Palestine.

Iraqi resistance’s operations on Dec. 26:

• The Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked the US military occupation base in the Al-Shaddadi area in Syria with a missile salvo, hitting the targets and resulting in casualties and heavy damage to the illegal base.
