Dec. 24: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of more than 20,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on December 24, Sunday, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Dec. 24:

• Hit and destroyed a Merkava tank with an ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shell in the Al-Qasaib neighborhood in the Jabalia refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
• Destroyed two Merkava tanks with ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells on the outskirts of the Jabalia Al-Balad area, north of the Gaza Strip.
• Detonated an anti-personnel explosive device among an Israeli infantry force in the Juhr al-Dik area in the central Gaza Strip, killing at least six regime soldiers.
• Shot dead at least three Israeli soldiers, including an army major, in the Al-Qasaib neighborhood in the Jabalia refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
• Struck a special Israeli regime force comprising 10 soldiers inside a building in the Juhr al-Dik area in the central Gaza Strip with an anti-fortified TBG shell, causing casualties
• Targeted military installations around Al-Zalal Mosque, east of the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, with a barrage of rockets and mortar shells.  
• Targeted a Merkava tank with a ‘Tandem’ shell on Al-Nuzha Street in the Jabalia Al-Balad area, north of the Gaza Strip.
• Hit a gathering of regime soldiers east of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southwestern Gaza Strip with heavy-caliber mortar shells.  
• Targeted “Sufa" military site of the Israeli military and a hideout of soldiers in its vicinity with a barrage of mortar shells.
• Targeted at least three Israeli military vehicles with two RPG shells and a guerrilla action device in Al-Zaytoun and Shujaiya, east of Gaza City.
• Targeted military concentrations surrounding the Islamic Complex east of the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza with heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Hezbollah's operations on Dec. 24:

Eastern sector:

• At around 7:30 local time, Israeli positions in Dishon were targeted with missiles.
• At around 15:35 local time, Israeli soldiers in Hunan were targeted with appropriate weapons.  

Western sector:

• At around 14:50 local time, the Avivim settlement was targeted with appropriate weapons, leading to a number of casualties.  
• At around 15:15 local time, the Al-Dhahira site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
