Iran-US prisoner swap

This photo shows two out of five Iranian nationals who were illegally detained in the United States and released in a prisoner swap deal with Iran.

A prisoner exchange has taken place between Iran and the United States. Five Iranian nationals were released from the US and five Americans were freed by Iran. This, after the two countries reached an agreement, which was mediated by Qatar. We have discussed this issued with our guests in this edition of the Spotlight program.
