Iran: Israeli troops suffer from various mental, moral illnesses
Iran says Israel’s criminal troops suffer from a range of “mental and moral illnesses” as a group of the regime soldiers recently forced some Palestinian women to strip in order to search them.
The regime forces, according to the Hebrew-language Haaretz newspaper, broke into the Ajluni family house in the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil in the early morning of July 10. Two female troops took the 53-year-old mother, her 17-year-old daughter and the mother’s three daughters-in-law, all in their 20s, into the children’s room, where they were forced to undress.
Carrying rifles and an attack dog, the occupation soldiers also threatened to unleash the dog if the Palestinian women did not comply with the order to strip. The soldiers conducted body searches of the men while they were clothed.
“Israel’s criminal army not only suffers from mania for killing and terror, but also from various forms of chronic mental and moral diseases,” Nasser Kan’ani wrote on his account on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday.
“The shameless insolence by the Israeli military toward some Palestinian women during an attack on al-Khalil is condemned and will bring disgrace to advocates of the regime,” he said.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman also called on the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to carry out their duties regarding this incident.
Israel’s brazen behavior has already drawn strong condemnation.
A coalition of Palestinian resistance factions have called for action in response to the degrading Israeli behavior toward Palestinians. “The occupying regime has crossed all red lines by doing such actions, and has desecrated all sanctities. It has undermined the dignity of humankind by targeting the honor of free Palestinian women,” the factions said in a statement.
The OIC, for its part, has condemned the incident, while the UN has called for an investigation into the matter.
