Millions of Muslims from around the world have gathered in the city of Karbala to take part in the Arba’een mourning ceremony, the 40th day after the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, the third Shia Imam and the grandson of Prophet Muhammad.. Our correspondent Gisoo Misha Ahmadi reports from the esplanade joining the two holy shrines of the city where pilgrims have converged: An area referred to as Bein al-Haramein.
