Government down in Niger

On July 26, Nigeriens woke up to a military takeover of the capital. Soldiers were out of the barracks, and were in the presidential palace and government ministries in Niamey. President Mohamed Bazoum, his wife, and his son had been confined to the palace, and staff had been prevented from entering.
