Lebanese, Yemeni resistance groups enraged as Israeli ‘terrorism machine’ runs unabated

Lebanese and Yemeni resistance groups have deplored the Israeli regime’s “terrorism machine,” as Israel steps up its savagery against Palestinians in al-Aqsa Mosque and elsewhere in the occupied territories.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah expressed solidarity with the uprising of the Palestinian people in the occupied al-Quds against the occupiers.

“Hezbollah strongly denounces the Israeli occupation forces’ invasion of the al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards, their brutal attacks against the Palestinian worshipers, and their aggressive behavior towards the people of al-Quds, as well as torturing them and vandalizing their property,” the group said, according to Lebanon’s al-Ahed news website.

It hailed the braveness of the Palestinian people and their “heroic confrontation” against the Israeli regime’s “terrorism machine.”

Such practices, Hezbollah said, represent a grave violation of the sanctity of al-Aqsa Mosque, hurt more than a billion Muslims worldwide, and provoke all freedom-seeking people of the world.

The Lebanese resistance movement also urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Arab League, and Arab and Islamic countries and peoples to “carry out their religious and moral duties by confronting these terrorist practices and by supporting the people of al-Quds.”

Israeli violence in al-Aqsa Mosque draws international condemnation

Mass rallies have been held across the Muslim world in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine after Israeli forces on Friday barged inside the al-Aqsa Mosque and brutally assaulted Palestinian worshippers.

The political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement also strongly condemned the Israeli brutalities and the regime’s desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque.

The resistance movement, in a statement released on Friday, saluted the Palestinian people for their heroic response to the Zionist regime’s arrogance.

“The current developments in occupied Palestine necessitate the Arab and Islamic peoples to move seriously and effectively to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the rebellion of the enemy entity and the regimes of normalization and betrayal,” it said, referring to the Arab countries that have normalized their relations with the Israeli regime.

In separate statements on Friday, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry, the Presidency of the Yemeni House of Representatives, and Yemeni tribes also denounced the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians and supported the Palestinian people’s right to react in self-defense.

Since the beginning of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan, the occupied West Bank has witnessed an escalation of Israeli violence, with over two dozen Palestinians having been killed and many more injured at the hands of the regime’s troops.

Israeli forces violently crack down on al-Aqsa solidarity protests in West Bank

Israeli regime forces violently cracked down on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on Friday following earlier raids on the al-Aqsa Mosque, leaving 344 of them injured.

The uptick in the Israeli killing and repression of Palestinians has been green-lit by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who granted full freedom of action to Israeli forces earlier this month to intensify their brutal raids against Palestinians.

“There are not and will not be limits for this war,” Bennett said on April 8, after a Palestinian young man launched a retaliatory attack in the heart of Israel, Tel Aviv, as part of the Palestinian people’s resistance to Israeli crimes.

On Saturday morning, the Israeli forces’ aggression extended inside al-Aqsa Mosque, as they stormed the mosque’s courtyards and attacked worshipers, injuring more than 150 Palestinians and arresting 400 others.

Last May, similar atrocities led to a war between the Israeli military and the Gaza-based resistance groups, which rose up in protest against the Israeli violence.

This year, the Palestinian resistance groups have already warned that dangerous ramifications await Israel if it continues to target and kill Palestinians.
