Palestinians attend funeral of man killed by Israeli army

Mourners attend the funeral of Palestinian Bakir Hashash, 21, in the West Bank refugee camp of Balata.

The Palestinian youth was killed by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank early Thursday, Palestinian medical and security sources said.

The Israeli army claimed its troops had shot at an armed man who fired on soldiers during an operation to arrest a wanted suspect in Nablus.
