Political experts and academics from 20 countries are here to discuss the character of a man who is known as the nemesis of the terrorists; Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.

General Soleimani was the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps. He was assassinated in January 2020 in a US drone strike outside Baghdad Intl. Airport on a direct order from former US president Donald Trump.

Soleimani is well-known for dislodging Daesh terrorists in Iraq in 2017. He also spearheaded major operations in Syria that resulted in liberating key areas from Daesh. Observers say by assassinating General Soleimani, the US tried to resurrect the terrorists. However, they call it a miscalculation that backfired on Washington, triggering the beginning of its exit from the region.

The Islamic Republic now calls General Soleimani a martyr and hails him as a national hero. It says it is working closely with Iraq to prosecute those behind Soleimani's assassination, and will not stop until all perpetrators, including Donald Trump and former US secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, face justice.

These people say the world owes General Soleimani a big thank you for his role in eradicating Daesh, since the terror group was trying to extend its activities throughout the world. They say, the US made a big mistake by assassinating him, since this led everyone to a safe interpretation that Washington must be on the terrorists' team.
