Heavy hits and intense rhythm are immaculately employed here to play an epic melody that tries to induce an image of a hero in the minds of the listeners; the image of General Qassem Soleimani.

This symphony orchestra is performed in commemoration of the second anniversary of the assassination of former commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, who was martyred in an American drone strike in Iraq in 2020.

The orchestra was performed by the IRIB Symphony Orchestra, which is affiliated to Iran's national television. The pieces were conducted under the baton of Arash Amini, who believes music speaks stronger than words.

General Soleimani holds a reputation for the fight against terrorism in the region. He is hailed for dislodging Daesh terrorists in Iraq in 2017. This earned him the title of a national hero in Iran.

The country is set to hold nationwide commemoration ceremonies on the second anniversary of his assassination slated for January 3, 2022.

There have been many events in the past days in Iran that tried to shed light on the importance of General Soleimani's role in Iran and the region.

These tunes try to communicate the same messages, except they use a more powerful language that needs no translation, the universal language of music.
