Over the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers have ended a five-game skid away from home after overcoming the Houston Rockets 132-123.
The Rockets slid past the Lakers with a one-point lead after the opening quarter, only to trail by 8 at intermission. The hosts stuck around for most of the game, erasing the deficit to 5 points in the third quarter, but the ‘Purple and Gold’ took over late to pull away and hand Houston their fifth straight defeat.
LeBron James and Russell Westbrook both had triple-doubles for the win. The victors will visit Memphis on Wednesday, whereas Houston will host Miami, on Friday.
