The ability to reproduce text has been, quite possibly, the most important technology in furthering science and human intelligence. We knew its importance since around 3500 BC when Egyptians created small round cylinders made of hardened clay with inscriptions engraved on them and when they would roll them on wet clay, it would leave an impression Obviously, we have come a long way since and the technology has matured with offset printing, laser printing and whatnot. So whats the next step? It feels like its time for a change… time for a new dimension to printing.
