It’s been one hundred and four years since British Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour issued his infamous Declaration, giving Zionists the permission to usurp the Palestinian land. Palestinian in the blockaded Gaza Strip expressed their anger towards the British government and its continued support to the Israeli regime.

The Balfour declaration in 1917 led to the displacement of the indigenous Palestinians upon the creation of the Israel regime in 1948.

Hamas movement vowed to continue resistance against the Israeli occupation.

Palestinian refugees who make up most of Gaza’s population demanded compensation from the British government for their pain and suffering for more than seven decades.

The United Kingdom along with the United States have been the strongest supporters of the Israeli regime. Senior Palestinian officials demanded that the British government must compensate Palestinians for their grave pain and loss.

One hundred and four years on, the Balfour Declaration continues to plague all aspects of life for Palestinians.

The Balfour Declaration is considered by most Palestinians as the root cause of their suffering under the Israeli occupation. They also blame England for their plight.
