The Israeli dream

And this week we’re taking a look at one nation and what might be called its impossible dreamers. Yes, once again the Israeli regime is sharing again its inspirational dream with the world: namely, attacking Iran. Well, to be fair attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities, which is obviously a lot safer and environmentally responsible than attacking the whole country isn’t it. In his recent speech to the United Nations General Assembly, Israel’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said, “Iran’s nuclear program has hit a watershed moment, and so has our tolerance.”

And now the regime’s Military chief Aviv Kohavi has reportedly ordered the air force to ‘intensely’ practice for a possible attack on Iran, after a 2-year pause in training. Why the two year delay? Because it seems over this period of time, the regime was fully engaged in a war with the impoverished people of the Gaza Strip and couldn’t focus on another war.

Some commentators think this proves they’ve been learning from America, who have perfected the art of losing just one war at a time. The Israelis have decided to carry out the military drills in the skies of Greece and Italy; that’s far enough away so that they won’tbe targeted by Hezbollah’s missiles and drones, though I would point out that dropping bombs on beaches in Corfu isn’t going to do much to encourage tourism and could be mistaken for extreme measures by the European Union to enforce Covid-19 social distancing rules.
