Liverpool have kept their hopes alive for European competition, after hammering Arsenal 3-nil at the Emirates Stadium.
The Merseyside Reds had to wait until the 64th minute to get the upper hand when Portuguese striker Diogo Jota scored with a bullet header.
Only 2 minutes later, Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah doubled the lead for the defending champions after nutmegging the keeper.
With just 6 minutes remaining, Jota put the match to bed with a 1st-time shot to earn all 3 points for Liverpool.
The victory moves Jurgen Klopp’s side up to 5th, two points behind Chelsea, while the Gunners slipped to 9th.
