Anti-Asian hate
There is a long history of discrimination against Asians in the Untied States, but since the coronavirus was found in Wuhan, China, violence has escalated against Asian Americans.
Former President Donald Trump poured gasoline on the flame as he kept calling the Covid-19 the "China Virus" or the "kung flu," clearly promoting anti-Asian sentiments.
Several protests have been held in the aftermath of the brutal murder of eight people, including six Asian women, by a white male at spas in the state of Georgia.
That has put spotlight on white supremacy, hatred, bigotry and violence, specifically victimizing Asian Americans.
