Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have slammed the recent normalization agreement between Morocco and the Israeli regime.

Morocco was the last Arab country to normalize ties with Tel-Aviv this year, following in the footsteps of the UAE, Bahrain and Sudan.

During a press conference in front of the Palestinian Legislative Council premises in Gaza, the Palestinian Muslim Scholars’ League said that Arab countries normalization with Israel is a betrayal to the Palestinians and their cause.

Participants in the event also praised Moroccan protesters who stood up against the normalization.

Following the normalization agreement, Moroccans staged demonstrations all across the country to denounce Rabat’s relations with the Israeli regime.

The US-mediated agreements have been met with unanimous condemnation from all Palestinian factions, who called it a stab in the back of the Palestinians.

Palestinians are calling on Arab countries to support their just cause instead of helping the Israeli regime who continues to violate their basic rights.

Israeli aggression against Palestinians, including air raids on Gaza and home demolitions in Jerusalem al-Quds, saw a sharp increase following the normalization deals.

Palestinians consider normalization with the Israeli regime as high treason.

Observers say that normalizing ties with Israeli regime will only encourage Tel-Aviv to further violate the rights of the Palestinian people.
