UEFA Champions League: Manchester United 1-3 PSG

Over the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United have suffered a 3-1 loss to Paris Saint Germain at Old Trafford.

PSG enjoyed an early lead as Neymar fired in a rebound just 6 minutes into the match. The Red Devils grabbed the equalizer in the 32nd minute as a Marcus Rashford shot went past a stranded Keylor Navas after a deflection. 

9 minutes after the hour-mark, Marquinhos had an easy job to slot the ball into an empty net and put the Parisians ahead. And one minute into injury time, Neymar sealed the win for PSG by coolly striking the ball from close range.

With the victory, PSG are 2nd in Group H with 9 points. That's while Man United are first also with 9 points with a better goal difference. 

Elsewhere in the Champions League, Chelsea have hammered Seveeya 4-nil in Spain with all goals coming from Frenchman Olivier Giroud.

Giroud gave Chelsea an early lead in the 8th minute. The striker then completed his brace in the 54th minute as he slammed the ball past the keeper. Twenty  minutes later, the Frenchman registered his hat-trick via a header from close range.

But Giroud did not stop there! He scored the 4th for his team via a penalty kick in the 83rd minute to wrap up the 4-nil thrashing. Chelsea, who have already secured their place in the next round, are atop Group E with 13 points out of 5 matches, while Seveeya are 2nd with 10 points, also with a ticket into the next round.

Staying with the Champions League, and RB Leipzig have overcome Bashak Shahir 4-3 in Turkey. Leipzig got on the scoresheet 26 minutes into the match as Yussuf Poulsen deflected a shot from Marcel Sabitzer and made it 1-nil.

It was then Nordi Mukiele’s turn to double the advantage for the German side in the 43rd minute. Irfan Kahveji pulled one back for the home-side with a powerful shot, moments before the half-time whistle.

Leipzig then tripled their lead in the 66th minute as Dani Olmo made a lovely finish. But the hosts were not giving up as Kahveji scored twice in the span of 12 minutes to complete his hat trick and level the match at 3-all.

Alexander Sorloth then turned the game around, scoring the winner from just outside the box in Injury time. The 4-3 win for Leipzig put them 3rd in Group H with 9 points from 5 fixtures, while Bashak Shahir are 4th with only 3 points.
