Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has won the Tuscan Grand Prix, by beating his teammate Valtteri Bottas, in an incident packed race.

After two dramatic car crashes within the first 9 laps and two red flag stoppages, the defending champion took the checkered-flag after 2 hours, 19 minutes and 35 seconds. Bottas crossed the line nearly 5 seconds behind the Brit, while Alexander Albon finished 8 seconds behind the leader. Hamilton's win was his 6th in 9 races this season, extending his championship lead to 65 points after collecting 190. Bottas and Max Verstappen sit 2nd and 3rd respectively with 135 and 110 points. It was Hamilton's 90th career victory, and puts the Brit just one behind Michael Schumacher's all-time record of 91.
