To Basketball news, the Houston Rockets have topped the Dallas Mavericks 153 to 149 in overtime in their 1st game in the resumed NBA season.
It was a close contest from the onset, but the Mavericks managed to take an 85 to 75 advantage at the intermission. Dallas kept the momentum after the break and managed to increase the margin to 11-points.
The Rockets however leveled the match in the final quarter, after outscoring the Mavericks 31 to 20, to send the match into overtime.
Houston then increased their resilience and beat their opponents 14-10 in overtime, to register their 1st victory after the NBA restart. James Harden and Russell Westbrook tallied 49 and 31 points respectively to earn 80 points for the Rockets, while Kristaps Porzingis bagged 39 for the Mavericks.
