AC Milan’s push for automatic qualification for the Europa League have been dented, at least for now, after a 1-all home draw against Atalanta.
Hakan Calhanoglu put Milan ahead after 14 minutes of play, as he sent a free kick over the keeper and into the net. Atalanta had the chance to equalize, but Gianluigi Donnarumma denied them a spot kick.
Atalanta eventually levelled the match, thanks to Duvan Zapata, who slotted home in the 34th minute. The draw puts 2nd-placed Atalanta on 75 points, with two games left to play, while AC Milan are 6th on 60 points, one behind AS Roma.
