Coppa Italia: Juventus 3-1 AS Roma

Juventus have cruised to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia with their star Cristiano Ronaldo continuing his scoring streak in a 3-1 victory over AS Roma at the Allianz Stadium.

The irrepressible Portuguese claimed the 13th goal in his last 10 matches after drilling a shot into the far corner in the 26th minute. Juventus added a 2nd on a counter attack 12 minutes later when Rodrigo Bentancur squeezed an effort into the bottom-left corner.

And on the stroke of halftime, defender Leonardo Bonucci made it 3 after calmly heading in at the back post. Roma pulled one back 5 minutes after the break with a Jengiz under shot, which hit the bar and bounced off goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon into the net. However, Juve stood firm in the closing stages to book a last 4 clash against either AC Milan or Torino.
