Team Iran have made it to the finals of the 2018 Inter-continental Beach Soccer Cup in Dubai, after a deserved 3-1 victory over Egypt.
After a goalless draw in the opener, Iran's number 15, Mohammad Masoomizaadeh, opened the scoring with a powerful bicycle-kick.
In the 3rd period, Ali Mir-Shekaari doubled the lead, before Iran conceded a goal from the spot. It was Mostafa Kiyaani who restored the 2-goal cushion, with a long-range effort.
Team Iran managed to hang-on to their lead, and bag yet another victory. Marco Octavio’s men will face Russia in the finals on Saturday.
