Yemen blockade remains despite removal assurances

Saudi Arabia continues the siege of Yemen’s Hudaydah seaport and Sana’a international airport despite an earlier pledge to open humanitarian corridors into the war-torn country. This is while more than seven million Yemenis are on the brink of famine with aid agencies warning that it could lead to a real disaster if the blockade continues.
