A Brazilian man has dedicated his farm to breeding giant rabbits. He believes diet is the most important factor in breeding the giant bunnies.

Once an engineer, Fernardes is now a successful farmer who started breeding rabbits after retirement. His rabbits weigh up to nine kilograms which is over double the weight of a normal rabbit.

Rabbits usually weigh around four kilograms. A special diet for Oscar’s bunnies contains 17 percent proteins as well as a Chinese plant called Ramie. The farmer says he had the passion of feeding rabbits since childhood and now his hobby has turned into a business.
